Azent: Discounts & Offers user guide

Use this guide to create quantity discounts, Buy More Save More, BOGO, free gift, free shipping, and subscription offers for your store.

Overview

Azent: Discounts & Offers lets merchants create offer templates in the app admin, publish active offers to Shopify Discount Functions, and show quantity breaks on product pages using theme app blocks or app embeds.

  • Create Buy More Save More, BOGO, free gift, subscription, and cart discount offers.
  • Target all products or narrow offers by products, variants, collections, cart conditions, or customer tags.
  • Display customer-facing quantity tiers with vertical or horizontal widget layouts.

Quick setup

  1. Install Azent: Discounts & Offers from the Shopify App Store.
  2. Open the app dashboard and follow the Setup Guide.
  3. Choose an offer template, create the offer, and set its status to Active.
  4. Add discount tiers such as 5-9, 10-14, and 15+.
  5. Publish the rule so cart and checkout discounts can be calculated.
  6. Add the Quantity Discounts block or app embed in Shopify Theme Editor.

Rules and tiers

Rules define when a discount applies. Tiers define the quantity or subtotal ranges for each discount level.

  • Buy More Save More: Apply percentage, fixed amount, or set unit price discounts to quantity tiers.
  • BOGO and free gifts: Create mix-and-match offers with free item or gift benefits.
  • Subscribe & Save: Set a reduced target price for customers who choose a larger pack.
  • Cart discount: Apply discounts based on cart subtotal or item-quantity conditions.

Product page display

The product page widget helps customers understand the next quantity break before they add items to cart.

  • Choose a vertical or horizontal widget layout.
  • Customize labels such as quantity, savings, discount, and total text.
  • Allow customers to click a tier row to set the product quantity automatically.
  • Show guidance text such as "Add 4 more to reach the next discount tier."

Cart and checkout discounts

Active discount rules are published to Shopify-native discount logic. The product page widget is for display and guidance; Shopify applies the final discount in cart and checkout.

  • Make sure the rule is Active.
  • Check that the Shopify Discount Function ID is configured in production.
  • Confirm the app is installed on the same Shopify app release that owns the function.
  • Test with a product that matches the rule targeting.

Troubleshooting

Discount table is not showing

  • Confirm the theme app block or app embed is enabled.
  • Confirm the current product matches at least one active rule.
  • Check that the app proxy URL is configured in Shopify app settings.

Discount is not applied in checkout

  • Publish or re-save the active rule.
  • Check the backend logs for discount publishing errors.
  • Verify the `SHOPIFY_DISCOUNT_FUNCTION_ID` belongs to the current Shopify app release.
