This Privacy Policy explains how Azent Labs collects, uses, stores, and protects data when merchants install or use Azent: Discounts & Offers.

1. Information we collect

  • Shopify store domain, locale, timezone, install status, and app scopes.
  • App configuration such as discount rules, tiers, display settings, templates, and rule status.
  • Shopify product, variant, collection, vendor, product type, and customer tag identifiers used for rule targeting.
  • Billing plan and subscription status needed to manage plan limits.
  • Technical logs needed for security, debugging, and reliability.

2. Customer data

The app is designed to avoid collecting customer personal information by default. Discount calculations and product page display use product, cart, and rule data. If Shopify sends customer identifiers through required compliance webhooks, we use them only to process the request.

3. How we use data

  • Provide quantity discount, volume discount, cart discount, and product page display features.
  • Publish active discount rules to Shopify-native discount logic.
  • Manage billing plans, usage limits, and support requests.
  • Improve reliability, security, and app performance.

We do not sell merchant or customer data. We do not use collected data for advertising or profiling.

4. Data sharing

Data is shared only when required to provide app functionality, comply with law, protect legal rights, or work with Shopify services needed for installation, billing, discount calculation, and webhook handling.

5. Security

  • Data is transmitted over HTTPS.
  • Webhook requests are verified with Shopify HMAC signatures.
  • Access to production data is restricted to authorized personnel.
  • Infrastructure and database access are monitored and protected.

6. Retention and deletion

We retain app configuration while the app is installed. When the app is uninstalled or Shopify sends a required deletion webhook, we delete or anonymize associated app data within a reasonable timeframe unless retention is required by law, security, billing, or audit needs.
