This page explains how merchants can request data deletion and how Azent: Discounts & Offers handles Shopify compliance webhooks.

App uninstall

When a merchant uninstalls the app, Shopify sends an app uninstalled webhook. We use this event to mark the store inactive and remove or anonymize app data that is no longer required.

Shop redact webhook

When Shopify sends a shop redact request, we delete or anonymize store-level app data associated with the shop domain, including discount rules, tiers, display settings, and related app records where applicable.

Customer data requests

The app is designed to avoid collecting customer personal data by default. If Shopify sends a customer data request or customer redact webhook, we process the request according to Shopify requirements and remove matching app records if any exist.

Manual deletion requests

Merchants can request data deletion by emailing support@azentlabs.com. Include the Shopify store domain and the type of data you want deleted.

Retention exceptions

Some records may be retained if required for legal, billing, security, fraud prevention, audit, or dispute resolution purposes.
